ABOUT US

THE SILVER JUBILARIANS, HIGH SCHOOL ‘99

“We know who we want to be by knowing what we’ve been. Goodbye for now, ‘til our paths cross again.”

- Pathways, Graduation song Class ’99

25 years since we parted ways, we come together to look back on the roads we've traveled, and look forward to the paths that lie ahead.

Ora, or prayer, is itself a journey—to divinity and its many manifestations in the world around us. We take this opportunity to celebrate how Ora et Labora has been reflected in our lives with the passage of time.

From here we can forge ahead, towards a future that invites us to draw strength from one another, and calls on us to embody the Benedictine spirit in whatever path we take.

ORA: Our Road Ahead

The woman in the logo represents each of us - a true-blue Scholastican.

The different hues of blues represent different facets of life, which is also reflected in the hair waves for more emphasis of the different pathways we have chosen.

With eyes closed, the woman is in deep prayer - which is ORA.

And we will have our biggest reunion during the homecoming together with other St. Scho. alumnae across generations.

This is now everyone’s journey - OUR ROAD AHEAD.

MISSION

SSC Manila High School Batch 1999 will host a homecoming event to honor our Alma Mater together with the St. Scholastica's Alumnae Foundation, Inc. (SSAFI)

We strive to strengthen the Scholastican community by continuing the annual tradition, living up to the Benedictine values, and passing it on to the next generation.

THREE PILLARS (Vision - Values)

We recognize the call to action to become agents of change. We are not afraid to go against the tide, we explore paths untold.

We take the risk of leaping to greater heights. We break the glass ceiling that takes us to another level, a higher purpose.

Standing as beacon of light so that others may find their way. We forge the path forward for generations to come.
